Nice easy winner with Minnesota/Tulsa under on Tuesday. 11-1 in my 12 plays here for women's hoops. I always try to post a short writeup to explain my reasoning for the pick.

3-0 in 2011 WNBA
3-1 in 2010 WNBA
5-0 in 2010 women's FIBA
Minnesota at Seattle
over 148
The meetings last year between the two teams saw totals set at 150 to 154. I expected a total of 152 for this game. Seattle has played just one game and that was an opener vs. Phoenix where the Storm shot 43% while Phoenix only made 40% of their field goals.
These two played the second game of the 2010 season and the score was 79-76 (155 points). Minnesota now has Maya Moore in the lineup and she had a bad game vs. Tulsa on Tuesday, only scoring 7 points. She should be motivated to play at Seattle, who won the WNBA title last season.
The Lynx have already traveled to the west coast to play LA and both games vs. the Sparks made it to the mid-150's.
Let's look at Seattle's home games dating back to last year:
Phoe 149
Atl 171
Atl 166
Phoe 156
LA 145
LA 151
Minn 132
Tulsa 176
Conn 165
Both teams have plenty of offensive weapons (Moore, Brunson, Augustus, Whalen, Cash, Jackson, Bird and Wright). I like our chances to get over 148. GL!
